The left is weak as shit.

If the left was doing something illegal stuff that the right doesn't like, the right would have the place swarming with media and would talk about it 24/7 for months until people are on the streets looking for blood.

But since it's the right doing it, the left just goes "oh I guess there's nothing we can about this".

This doesn't make sense because clearly the child was living with a caretaker who can take responsibility for the legal representation. And if the caretaker is the US government, they should bring a representative from the Mexican consulate to represent the child, assuming the child is a Mexican citizen.

That poor child.

Immigration court is nuts. They’re civil offenses, not criminal. That means the accusation only needs to be proven with a preponderance of evidence, not beyond a reasonable doubt. And there’s no right to have a public defender if you can’t obtain your own lawyer. But the potential outcome is exile from your home.

The cruelty is the point.
