AI search results are quickly becoming more important than SEO, but as businesses, we have no visibility over it! That's why I'm building "Ahrefs for AI search results".
Track keyword performance on AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity & more

AI answers are ephemeral, often user-specific, and influenced by changing models. Unlike traditional SEO. That makes measurement tricky and potentially brittle. Curious how you’re tackling that technically and whether there’s a sustainable data pipeline behind it.
If you’re aiming to be the “Ahrefs of AI,” think carefully about where defensibility can come from: data access, UX, integrations, or use case specificity (e.g., brand monitoring vs. keyword rank).

good points. Currently, I'm collecting user keywords, generating generic questions from them, and tracking the AI responses.
I believe we will iterate over time and add a better data pipeline in the future.

I’m genuinely curious how do you influence the likelihood your product or service is scrapped and added to training data.
Or is currently iterations of GEO tackling the internet search part of the chatbot and helping owners optimize llms.txt files and such. And if that’s the case, I assume backlinks are still important to help the bot traverse.

I'll support anything aiming for an ahrefs quality level product. One of the best softwares I've ever used.
